An investment banker and strategy consultant turned social entrepreneur, Charif Hamidi, is the co-founder of Ed4.0 (Education 4.0), an education innovation social enterprise that uses technology and artificial intelligence to provide access to quality education to underprivileged youth, and girls in particular in Africa, the Middle-East, and around the world in order to prepare them for the fourth industrial revolution.
Ed4.0 empowers youth through education technology to develop their foundational and cognitive skills, creativity, and design and systems thinking with the purpose of democratizing education, unlocking economic prosperity and achieving social justice.
Given his background in investment banking and strategy consulting, he has advised private equity firms on education technology deals and governments in preparing for the fourth industrial revolution by developing change programs, socioeconomic reforms, investment strategies, future studies, and search-and-matching models. Charif is a Forbes 30 under 30, a Global Shaper at the World Economic Forum, and an Enterprise for Peace Scholar at the One Young World.
