Tariq Al-Osaimi joined the National Bank of Kuwait in 2016 as an Assistant General Manager of Innovation and Digitalization he is responsible for leading the Bank’s digital strategy.

He’s responsible for setting the bank digital strategy to drive growth by converting traditional analog businesses to digital ones using the potential of modern online technologies, mobile applications, analytics and data, and at times oversees operations in the rapidly changing digital sectors.

Prior to joining the National Bank of Kuwait, Tariq was a Chief Information Officer at Kuwait Credit Bank responsible for IT strategic planning, to transform the bank into all digital bank. At the end of the transformation, the personal loan approval time was reduced to 90 seconds from 3 days and mortgage approval from 2 weeks to 10 minutes.

Tariq holds a BS degree from the Oregon State University School of Engineering And Harvard Business School Executive Education.
