Katia is a cultural architect, leadership mentor and inspirational speaker. She has a medical degree from Imperial College London with an additional BSc in Clinical Paediatrics. After six years of working as a doctor, she left her career in medicine in order to pursue work with NGOs to help shape culture in communities. She is currently a director for Frequentsee – a non profit organisation working internationally to empower men and women to discover their worth and unique voice in order to help foster cultural transformation for the greater good. Katia spearheads Frequentsee’s focus to see gender equality in every sphere of society. She loves to travel and explore different cultures, inspired by her own diverse heritage – born in Iran, raised in the UK and now residing in Durban, South Africa. Katia is married and is mum to two busy toddlers.
