Mariam Al Mualla works and volunteers on different initiatives at the Executive Office of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Al Qassimi. One of the initiatives, FUNN is dedicated to promoting and supporting media art for young children and the youth of Sharjah and UAE. Another initiative is The Big Heart Foundation, which aims to raise funds for sustainable projects for refugees in the Middle East.
She recently joined the organization on a trip to Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan in an effort to use arts and media as a means to bring hope and joy refugee children and youth; the team organized various workshops for 7-18 year olds including handing out new cameras and providing photography workshops.
Mariam is passionate about education for all and cultural diplomacy. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Applied Communications from the Higher Colleges of Technology in Sharjah.
