Innovation and technology have become key enablers of economic growth for any nation in today’s world. The United Arab Emirates knows this very well and is at the forefront of innovation. Particularly, powered by digital transformation, Dubai is well positioned to be the smartest, safest and happiest city in the world.
However, with the sudden rise in cyber threats across the globe and in the region, addressing cyber security and ensuring adequate safety measures have become imperative to the government. The government is leaving no stone unturned to ensure residents and businesses in the UAE do not suffer from cyber-attacks by raising awareness, implementing strategies and fostering collaboration between regional and international partners.
As part of the mission to achieve the axes of UAE’s national agenda to transform UAE into a cyber-smart society, Dubai Municipality is officially endorsing the 10th Cyber Defence Summit, organised by business facilitator Naseba. Taking place on September 20th in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, the summit is a private platform for up to 120 cyber security decision makers from the UAE to address and find practical solutions for ever-growing cyber-threats.
