Rahul Pai serves as the Chief Operating Officer at UAE Exchange and leads the innovation agenda of the group. In this position, Rahul heads the Strategy, Product Development, Marketing and Human Resources functions across the global operations of UAE Exchange.

Having joined UAE Exchange in 2005, Rahul has served in various senior leadership roles across Strategy, Products, and Operations. His key areas of expertise include Operational Excellence, Organizational Development, New Product Development, and Mergers and Acquisitions. Rahul has been instrumental in developing the Group’s digital products and payment infrastructure. Additionally, he also played a crucial role in the Group’s international expansion and was actively involved in four major acquisitions worth a total of USD 925 million.

Rahul is a qualified Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), and a Certified Information Systems Auditor from the Information Systems Audit and Control Association.
