Naida Kardas is the co-founder and the chief pedagogical officer of Ed4.0. She is an education and innovation professional, a social entrepreneur, and a proactive humanitarian. She specializes mainly in early childhood education, cognitive learning, and educational leadership and policy. Having earned two master’s degrees in education sciences, Naida has collaborated with the U.S. Department of Education to implement Common Core State Standards in turn-around schools and developed innovative pedagogical strategies. Naida has worked with many education organizations in the GCC and founded the Abu Dhabi Student Entrepreneurship Association to help Emirati students gain knowledge and technical skills on the Fourth Industrial Revolution and to stand out in the job market after graduation. She sits on several boards and advises senior government officials and royal family members on education policy. Naida has conducted a variety of research studies in education, second language acquisition, literacy, women refugees and effects of displacement after war. She recently completed an action research project that studies the effects of education technology within differing socioeconomic statuses.
