Ms. Nahlah A. Al-Jubeir joined the Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission (SACM) team in March 2013 to establish and head the Center for Career Development which assists SACM students find jobs and internships in Saudi Arabia and the USA and organizations find Saudi talent.  Ms. Al-Jubeir encourages students to seize opportunities to gain experience in their fields while in school to help them explore their career options and develop their skills to make better choices regarding their professional goals.  For students studying abroad, these training opportunities would also expose them to the host country’s business practices, build their networks, and help establish better understanding between cultures.

Prior to her current position, Ms. Al-Jubeir held several positions at the Saudi Health Mission in Washington, DC, the most recent one as Deputy Director for Financial and Administrative Affairs.  Before working for the Saudi Arabian government, Ms. Al-Jubeir taught ESL at Maryland University in College Park, MD, and at the George Washington University in Washington, DC.

Ms. Al-Jubeir, who is a Senior International Affairs Fellow at the National Council on U.S.-Arab Relations, is a graduate of Georgetown University with a Master’s Degree in Economics and a Bachelor’s Degree in German and Economics.  She is also a graduate of the American University with a Master’s Degree in TESOL (Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages) and holds a diploma in accounting.
