Ceri Nursaw is a science graduate, set up and runs her own company and is the Chief Executive of the National Centre for Entrepreneurship in Education.

Ceri Nursaw is the Chief Executive of NCEE, which supports higher education to build its enterprise and entrepreneurial future.  Working with universities across the world, its senior leadership and practitioners NCEE provide a range of services helping higher education to be at the forefront of enterprise and entrepreneurship.  NCEE leads a series of programmes to support higher education including the highly influential Entrepreneurial University Leaders Programme, which has worked with over 150 university leaders.

Ceri Nursaw has a 20-year track record of leading, influencing and developing organisational and national policy. She has worked at a senior level in higher education supporting innovative and creative partnerships with local authorities Government, the private sector, charities, schools, colleges and communities. She was a member of HEFCE’s Strategic Committee for Enterprise and Skills and has provided advice to the Government including the Departments for Education and Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.

Since 2013 Ceri has also led Nursaw Associates, which provides consultancy and project implementation support to further social mobility. It has established itself with clients including the National Health Service, Government regulators (including the Office for Fair Access), Medical Schools Council, universities across the country including Oxford, York St John, Birmingham and Warwick

Until April 2013 Ceri was Head of Access and Community Engagement at the University of Leeds where she led a team of over 30 and a budget in excess of £3m to support fair access, admissions, recruitment, community engagement and local and national policy development.  She also established the £14m financial support package to help students whilst at university.
